You start with a covered grid, there are objects inside but the only way to figure out where they are is to fire a laser into the area, see where it comes out after it bounces off things, and use that to figure out their positions!
This game starts off with very easy game modes to get you comfortable.
Also, if you give up a game, you can fire lasers into the play area after it reveals all locations to get a better idea of the different situations you may face.
