FreeWiseAfrica is an Android application with a crowdsourced database of African proverbs. It is furnished with a large number of proverbs from all African countries. Users have the option to search in the database by country, key words, hottest, latest....
Furthermore, Users can add their own proverbs. Those added proverbs will the accessible for everyone after moderation from an administrator.
- Text2speech features give the privilege to listen proverbs in your favorites and their meaning. Some proverbs are published with a prerecorded reading and explanation.
- A full featured clock with the extra WiseAlarm allows user to set their favorites proverbs to be read after the alarm tone. Number of proverbs can be defined in the settings.
- A home screen clock widget with the colors of WiseAfrica is available to simplify the access to WiseAfrica.
