FreeNarain Karthikeyan became the first Indian driver to race in Formula 1 with Jordan in 2005. He split his early racing between Asia and Britain, winning the 1994 Fomula Ford winter series in Britain and the Formula Asia championship two years later. Narain Karthikeyan is the first Formula One motor racing Indian driver. Like several other former F1 drivers Karthikeyan moved to stock car racing and drove the #60 Safe Auto Insurance Company Toyota Tundra for Wyler Racing in the 2010 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.
