Road Safe, available for free on iOS, alerts motorists of nearby cyclists and motorcyclists in an effort to prevent accidents caused from carelessness or blind spots. The application uses real-time GPS and utilizes sound and vibration notifications to alert drivers of a motorcyclist or a cyclist's presence when both Road Safe users are within one hundred and twenty meters of one another. The customizable notification will encourage drivers to be more alert while driving and to stay mindful of other drivers who may not be as visible as those in a larger vehicle.
