FreeKim Jiwon (Korean: 김지원, born December 21, 1995), better known by the name Bobby (Korean: 바비), is a Korean American hip hop rapper based in South Korea.[1] He unofficially debuted in the Mnet reality tv show “WIN: Who Is Next?” which centered on YG Entertainment’s male trainees in their competition to debut in the group WINNER.
He is expected to officially debut in January 2015 as a member of iKON.
Bobby was born on the December 21, 1995 in Virginia, United States. He was introduced publicly as an YG trainee in the first episode of “WIN: Who is Next?”. Bobby had been training since the beginning of 2011. Bobby was part of “Team B” led by trainee B.I. Bobby made a cameo appearance in Taeyang’s Ringa Linga music video. Since then he won the third season of Mnet’s “Show Me the Money”(쇼미더머니 3) rap competition program.
