Description
    Now all the holidays up to 2015 are available on your PDA!
    There is a fair chance you waste your time if you happen to be in a foreign country on business during local or national holidays. PocketHolidays program will let you effectively schedule your trip to any country of the world. This application will remind you of the upcoming holidays, and what`s more, it will let you enhance your cultural awareness by researching the origin of a holiday and comparing it to other holiday customs of the world. You can also add (Export) any selected holiday to Calendar for further reminder. Most of the holidays have detailed description. You can edit the holidays available, delete them or add you own holidays with the possibility of editing their description as well.

Installation.
    You will need Microsoft ActiveSync installed on your desktop PC in order to install Megasoft2000 PocketHolidays. Simply run PocketHolidays.exe on your desktop and select location (Main or Storage) where you want PocketHolidays to be installed.
First launch of the program.


    After the first launch the PocketHolidays program suggests that you should register
    this version. The trial version enables you to examine the program abilities taking the holidays of 2004 as an example, i.e. you can add to your Calendar only holidays of the year 2004.

    After you`ve registered the program, you can add the holiday of all countries to the year
    of 2015 inclusive. As soon as you bought the PocketHolidays program and got your registration code, press the "Register..." button and enter the registration code.
    To study the trial version on the basis of the year 2004, press the "Ok" button.




Main window
     

    To start your work, you should select:
    • Year
    • Country
    • Religion

    The figure on your left displays the example of the joint representation of all "Catholic or Protestant" holidays and the USA holidays in 2005. If you require the USA holidays only, select "None" in the "Religion" bar. If you require displaying "Catholic or Protestant" holidays only, you should select "None" in the "Countries" bar correspondingly. In this way you can simultaneously display one country and one religion information.
     
    There is a context menu for each holiday in the list, which is always available via a standard "Tap-and-Hold" procedure.

    At the same time you get access to the Description of the selected holiday, can see its current position in the Calendar, check it for the further export to the Calendar or uncheck.
     
    You can get access to the Description of the selected holiday by ordinary means - select the desired holiday and double click on it.
Export holidays to the Calendar
     
    To export holidays to your Outlook Calendar is an extremely simple operation! In order to export holidays to the Calendar, you should select the desired holidays first. Then tick the checkbox on the left and press the Export button. At the same time you can export the desired holidays only for the year selected or for all years up to 2015.
     
    When the procedure of the selected holidays export is over, you`ll get the screen where the exported holidays will be marked yellow.
Group operations
     
    To accelerate operations involving a big number of elements, you can use a group operations menu that offers you:
    • Check All
    • Uncheck All
    • Check All Exported
    • Check All Unexported

Holidays list sorting
     
    You can sort the holidays list by three different means:
    • By the date
    • By the name
    • By the days left to the holiday
Remove holidays from the Calendar
     
    First of all tick the checkboxes of the exported holidays (yellow marked) that you wish to remove from the Calendar. After that, press the Remove button.

    You can select the desired mode of removing the holidays exported for the selected year or for all years up to 2015.
Edit countries list
     
    You can add new countries to the list, edit the countries already existing or delete them. You can access this mode from the main program menu: Menu > Edit countries List…
Edit holidays list
     
    You can edit the list of the holidays already existing that inhere in a particular country or religion. Also, you have an opportunity to add some new holidays, remove the needless ones or edit the description. You can access this mode from the main program menu: Menu > Edit holidays list…
Remove all holidays from the Calendar:
     
    You can simultaneously remove all the exported holidays from the Calendar. The operation can be accessed from the main program menu: Menu > Remove all holidays…
Uninstall PocketHolidays
     
    In order to avoid accidental deletion of all holidays exported to the Calendar while deinstalling the program, you`ll get a warning message on the screen of your PocketPC.
Registration
     
    Registration of the PocketHolidays application :

    Once you have purchased the PocketHolidays application, you`ll get the registration code, which should be entered in the registration field to complete the registration of the program.

    Note: All the subsequent versions of this application are free for the registered customers!
