from where do i can download fring for my nokia N-Gage QD. kindly reply soon did it works for N-gage QD, or can i have any such related application just for chatting/ voice chat purpose i dont need other features like file transfer etc. may be some older version of fring ???? gtalk/yahoo/orkut/skype etc

Unfortunately, my Nokia 6555 can only use miniFring, which is not pictured. miniFring is basically just a multi-chat client, and lacks much of Fring's best features, like VOIP calling, file transfer, and even basic things like hiding offline contacts and status changes. The Gmail notifier is a good idea, but it never notified me of new mail for some reason. If your device only supports miniFring, you're better off using something like eBuddy as it's a more full-featured multi-chat client, and does support sending pictures, hiding offline contacts and status changes. It also loads in roughly a third of the time of miniFring. i'm sure that if i had a compatible device that i'd give Fring a higher score as it looks to offer a lot of great features, but miniFring needs some work before it can compete with similar apps.

Nokia E71 users have to download the newer version from fring as this version is not fully working on this set or look for the versions tab here and get the ...93.sis. After installing the getjar version recommended for E71 it searches for the newer version but didn't find. The compatible version works fine on my mobile thogh havn't used for a long time. This software is the most advanced in its category I found.

HI ! If you read my last post it was in Jan, since then, I am using it without any problem. I have got it installed on my brothers phone, and my parents are ok with PC. So when they are on Skype, or Google talk, Or at home, well its a free call to me.. he he he.. I wish they could make it workable for Yahoo also.. Not very successful with MSN. Well overall a wonderful product, and as I said earlier, 100 points fro being free. But be careful about battery.. rather connect to charger and speak..Thats a bit down side... Jaison ;)
