Its Soooooooooooo Nice Software For Java Phones...
After restarting my K800i MGuard always sends the message to my friend that the SIM-Card changed, also if i didn't change it. I tried to change the Own No. from 0043065064... to +43065064... or to 065064... but it didn't work!! My Phone: Sony-Ericsson K800i I hope somebody could help me. For others: I also recognized that you have to copy the software to the phone memory to work correctly. Otherwise the k800i always aks for permission on startup.
The Own number setting must be supplied with the phone number associated with the currently inserted SIM card. If you are not sure, try sending an SMS from your phone to this same number. The message should get delivered correctly. If not, contact your service provider to make sure that they are not blocking the self SMS facility. We have mentioned the recommendation of using phone memory in the product documentation.
The software mguard opens quite alright on my phone and i can't click the "i agree" button after reading the terms and conditions.

DOES NOT WORK ON K790i!!!! The "Never Ask" option for the "Automatic Start" permission is not available. Selecting "Ask Once" provides no stealth features as every time the phone restarts it asks permission to send an sms. You need a really stupid thief for this to work. ---Reason for 4/10 rating--- Stealth was the *SINGLE* most important thing that this software needed to provide. Would have rated 0 but the software appears to be well made otherwise hence 4 for the effort.
mGuard does work on K790i. You need to set permissions for both "Auto Start" and "Messaging" to avoid permission pop-ups at the startup. This is clearly mentioned in the description given above, and in the documentation available at our website. We have reports from thousands of K790i users successfully using mGuard Theft Recovery. If you are still unable to configure your settings properly, you can ask for assistance through email to support@dexmobile.com
Hi, my mobile gives the EMI no, in a 15 digit format which is not acceptable at your site( which asks for a 17digit) is there a way out??

Works fine on my K750i - Only problem is that I'm unable to set the auto start permissions to never ask - can only select ask once - that means that the application needs to be started by the new "owner" I have found on the Sonyericsson site Autostarting MIDlets in JP-7 phones To enable the auto start functionality in the .jad file include the line: //MIDlet-Push-<n>: <ConnectionURL>, <MIDletClassName>, <AllowedSender> MIDlet-Push-1: autostart://:, AutoStartStatic, * The K750i is a JP-5 phone
A new version of mGuard that supports more devices is currently under development. This version is expected to support SE W810, K750 and Nokia S40 devices. Please check our product page at http://www.dexmobile.com/mGuard_se.aspx for latest list of supported devices.
