I have downloaded this app from a couple of different places just be sure but always with the same problem. I have a blackberry Storm 9500 with OS 4.7.0.78. The program loads and instals with no problems then the device restarts. But when i try to play a video or mp3 i receive a message (after a long delay) saying "error initializing media". I have tried a number of formats and sizes, including files that the included player can handle.

I downloaded the v1.2 xplayer pc.alx file and used the Blackberry Desktop Manager to try to install the application. I have a Blackberry 8830 with OS4.2.2.123 When I select the alx file I get the message that "no additional Applications designed for my device have been found"

Press the Trackwheel, choose "Go To..." from menu, type in wap.shapeservices.com and select OK button. 2. SHAPE's page with different products will be displayed. Scroll down to highlight "xPlayer" and select "Get Link" from menu. 3. In new window select "Download free trial version". You will pass to another window. 4. Press "Download" button. 5.
