Works with my w715. Connects to internal GPS and seems to find satellites easily enough. However, the route tracking is strange: it has me cycling to work through people's back gardens rather than on the roads, and today awarded me a top speed of 106 km/hr. bit excessive for pedal power. Total distance and average speed were in line with my bike computer. At one point it had me jump several hundred yards to the left and than back to my position. I changed the log time to get more frequent readings and perhaps more accuracy on the road, but this doesn't appear to have had an effect. To pause track recording you have to be in the tracks screen, which is cumbersome. Would prefer to have a single key work, like the * for adding waypoints, on the GPS screen. The # (help) key text in the maps screen doesn't display correctly -- it goes off the end of the screen rather than wrapping. Haven't tried adding maps because I couldn't find any ready to install, which means a whole new learning curve.
This program runs fine on the Sony-Ericsson K550i with the HGE-100 GPS enabler (set Com Port to AT5, baud to 9600). The UI isn't fancy, but it seems to do what it should do.
actually works!! havent saved a gpx/kmz file yet but it views its own tracks/waypoints and connects fiine to the internal gps..
Thank for your report. I'm working on a new release, I hope to finish the work in few weeks. New version will load gpx files, and guide user over a route. Thank again.
