Due to our rapid growth in terms of number of quotes delivered per month, we are being forced to retrieve our quotes in a different, much much more costly way than we initially were. The good news for you is that the quality of the data will be substantially improved and we will also be able to offer premium, subscription based services within the application. What does this mean for you. If you are an original adopter of PortfolioRT at the $8.99 price you will receive the update for free and continue to receive real-time quotes of superior quality including pre-market and after-market real-time data as well as portfolio management tools to track your number of shares, profit, etc... There will also be the option to subscribe to premium services within PortfolioRT such as charts, news/headlines, and options chains to name a few. We are also negotiating for bid/ask prices in real-time. The price for these subscriptions has not been set yet as we are still in the final stages of negotiating our costs for these services. We will also likely be increasing the price of PortfolioRT to compensate for our additional costs as we are making every effort to not charge a subscription for the data you are currently receiving in the application. Again, if you purchased PortfolioRT for $8.99, the update will be free, as we do not intend to penalize our early adopters.
