 | DynoBox is a virtual Dynamometer to measure the performance, speed and power of your car with the accelerometer (not the GPS receiver) of your iPhone. DynoBox tracks the acceleration of your car, calculates speed, distance and performance and plots it into an easily readable graph. Choose from a wide variety of units to measure the time and speed your car achieves on the Quartermile or measure how long it takes to get to a certain speed. DynoBox can also calculate the actual power your car produces. After each run you can review every split-second by sliding your finger over the display of your iPhone. In addition you will find the current lateral (sideways) force on the bottom of the screen, along with a "Max lateral force" display. Please note that the dynometer application works best when the iPhone is in a car mount attached to your windscreen or dashboard. Just laying it somewhere into your car will not get any good results.
