The midlet would be very helpfull when the ability of using host names instead of ip addresses is implemented. For the time being I can't use it at all because of dynamic IP. I believe that it is not even a real task for a man who has already wrote such proggy.

Custom port please

This application is very useful and offers more functionality than the average mobile WOL tools.

However, I didn`t manage to wake my computer that is behind an ADSL modem/router, although I have done port forwarding for port 9 to my PC.

If it were possible to set a different port in the GUI, there might be higher chances to achieve WOL.

Finally, another important feature for waking a computer that shares a public IP address is the possibility for using a hostname (FQDN) than an IP address, as the hostname can be fixed using a Dynamic DNS service. Otherwise, the scenario of waking any PC without a static IP is not supported at all.

If the two above enhancements are possible, then I believe that the JWakeME will become a killer Mobile WOL Application!
