Sensitive is the results of my first trials with J2ME, using the excellent IDE from Sun (netbeans). The graphics were designed using Blender (Menu Screens) and Photoshop. The game is based on the original C64 version which was awesome, the level data is totally new as the screen size of the S60 phones is vastly different from the C64, I used the original graphics as the concept but redesign all the tiles by hand. I included the original effect of run-time calculating the the shadows which is neat. Being J2ME I decided to not include any audio as the phones tend to be flaky at supporting it.

The Concept of the game is, as always, to get from the starting position to the Exit block destroying all blocks along the way, You may go over the animated blocks more than once, Teleporters will throw you around the level (press fire to use them), One way blocks (blocks with arrows running through them) will also thwart your journey. You must destroy all of the stripey Greenish blocks, including the animated ones before you can exit the level. In this version there is also the addition of Ice blocks, these blocks are so slippery that if you walk onto one you will not be able to stop till you come to a block that isn`t ice.

Each time you complete a level you will `unlock` a new one, there are 50 levels in total, Sensitive automatically remembers which levels you have unlocked, even after exiting the game or restarting your phone. you can select any of the levels you have unlocked as your starting level, from the main menu by moving onto the level option and using left or right joystick.

The end game sequence is a fun flash back to my C64 coding days, I havn`t written one of these effects in over a decade. so please enjoy it.

Please note that this game has only been tested on the Nokia N70 and the 6600,

For the 6600 phone download sensitive_s60.jar
for the N70 type phones download sensitive_s60_2nd.jar

the N70 version has a better frame rate.

There is more info on my game on my website here http://www.jamiefuller.com/coding.php .

If you find a phone that it does or does not work on please let me know.
