Database conversion from Handyshopper or from CSV or Text file.
There should be a "server" application on your computer. Then I could have made the shopping with the full QWERTY keyboard instead of using the T9 on my cell...
Would be nice to have named lists.
Have a look to Handy Shopper. You can create differents lists for differents shops. You can order items by place in the market, that you can enter per item / shop.
All works fine on my Nokia E51; will try on my wife's Nokia 3110c later. As already requested, editing of the item list on the PC will be useful as well as quantities for each item. Being able to send the shopping list by SMS and/or MMS to another phone will make this app perfect!
Since I don't see a manual, I' dlike to know if there is a convenient way to create the basic item list on the PC in a format understood by SmartShopper? That would save time and also allow to transfer the list from another program without re-typing the entire list. SmartShopper is simple enough to be used by less IT-literate people and I'd love to get it installed on my wife's smartphone, too.. :)
Extremely useful app. Grouping/categories would be useful, can get round by using prefix letters in selection list, eg. V- for veg. etc. Having count of items in active list would be nice.
