How to start :

• Download/buy “Mobile Secretary 3.5” and install it to your mobile phone.
• Download “Mobile Secretary for Desktop 1.0” (FREE) from here to your PC.
• You can now start to do data entry at your PC by using “Mobile Secretary for Desktop 1.0”.
• After enter the data, from the menu, select Database-> Save to File, enter a password to encrypt your data and it will be saved as an encrypted file with the filename of your choice (e.g.: data.xat).
• Copy that file from your PC to your Mobile Phone’s file system manually (e.g.: copy to Memory Stick or MMC of your mobile phone), or transfer with the link cable to the internal memory of your phone. Remember the path that you have copied to (e.g.: C:Othersdata.xat).
• Start “Mobile Secretary 3.5” at your mobile phone.
• You can start to import all entered data from the file transferred to your mobile phone.
• Congratulation, you have done the data import from PC to your Mobile Phone!!
• You can also reverse the steps above to Export data from your mobile phone back to your PC for backup purpose.

Security Notes :

For Import/Export features to work, some device need to explicit set the Application Permission to “Allow”, “Ask Once” or “Ask Every Time".

This setup is varying from device to device, but they are all similar. Just follow the guard line below:

Phone Main Menu-> Application -> Select “Mobile Secretary” -> Option -> Permissions -> Read/Write User Data, set all the available option to maximum permission, e.g.: “Always Allowed”, “Ask Once” or “Ask Every Time”.

If “Not Allowed” is selected, then the Import/Export features will not work. If you cannot set the permission to other than “Not Allowed”, then you might need a signed midlet, or you do not have ROOT CA certificate installed in your phone. In this case, contact support@exwebtech.com for help.
