Too many ads, which can cause the application to crash out. For example, I got an ad after I logged on and again when an MSN buddy sent me a message. When I wrote a reply, I got a full screen picture ad about a game with three options - download it now, hide & continue. I tried selecting `hide` three times, but it had no effect and when I tried `continue`, eMSN closed out. I preferred version 6.
