Tried failed misserably good program tho
worth updating to work on my phones
Hi there, i like your software. Tested it on a Sony Ericsson K750i and it works. You have 8 because i dont have the full version yet and cant tell how it accesses internal file and runs programs, but from what ive seen so far... IT`S GREAT!
Its a gr8 application and I want to activate the product. I am from India and want to purchase the product key...
I tried to run the application using wifi ad hoc connection to my laptop. The server said client -- 1 -- connected but the client seems looped on authentication process until show symbianOs error = -33 : Timed out.
The app looks great but does not work on my Phone either.
I have seen few JERKS and MORONS asking for a tutorial, well its already there on the site, go fuck yourself some where
But just for the sake of it i am giving a short tutorial, this should work but i think we can do the connection from INDIA
1. Download the server from the site on your pc, extract it, run the RunServer_Windows.bat file to start the server.
2. Now you have to enter a password and then confirm password this is make the connection secure when your client makes a communication with the server.
3. Select Internet then click start, you should get something like this
Socket - Port = 8888 Timeout = 15min
Server started at: Sat Jan 01 07:48:16 GMT+05:30 2000
Waiting for the clients...
-------------------------------
4. Now in your client software, you have to make a server connection. Click on option new
Name = Any name
HOST (IP) = IP number of your computer, as you would remote control it, which you can find on the site www.jm2pc.com, just keep your eyes open
PORT = 8888
Passowrd = The password that you gave on the server that is running on the PC
5. Thats it, select and start connection, if you are lucky you get connected
OK, spent ages trying to connect through a Toshiba BT dongle (Mfr. Cambridge Silicon Radio) without success. Then tried with a lenovo 300 N100 laptop and got through without much problem.
It seems the program is not compatible with all bluetooth devices -- but then this is true of other programs also.
For the people who asked about the `Channel` -- if you have searched the BT device in Auto mode, just do as the developer says and don`t change anything except to add the password.
Still haven`t been able to connect through Internet, can I even expect this to work on a computer connected via LAN and through a proxy server? The IP address shown on the JM2PC home page is different from that set as my static IP address on the proxy, which should I try? When I try the static address I get Connecting… forever and with the other IP I get ‘Couldn’t make the connection. ConnectionNotFound error in socket: open: error=110.
If I can get through on the Net, I may be back with a higher rating, but for now I give it a `5` (9/10 for features but 2/10 for user-friendliness and ease of use)
Try to select the correct COM port in the JM2PC Server. Please, read the README file at JM2PC_Server.zip. To connect through Internet you need a valid IP (a direct connection to the Internet). If you are in a LAN you need to configure a port forward in the proxy.. www.portforward.com for more information.
Please help me on the installation when the User Guide only in Portugese.
