Hi, i have problem with memory, i got 8gb memory card and 40mb internat mem, anyway, i put maps on the memory card, about 300mb and 100.000 files. Everything works fine, later one, ive installed the program, run it, and selected right options, saved, and restarted the program, and now my problem begins, phone keeps freezing, what can i do? what is the right memory cache for k850i? please write back, merry x-mas

Developer Response

I think it's because there are too many files. Try to download the maps with multiple tiles per file, please check the forum at http://forum.mgmaps.com for more information about the "stored map" feature in MGMaps. br, Cristian Streng MGMaps

applications says out of memory within seconds of opening up. have a 2gb memory card. map never gets close up.

Developer Response

Hi, Please enable Low Memory in Settings/Map Browsing. The 6300, as well as all Nokia Series 40 phones have only 2MB of "heap" memory (internal memory available to java applications). For more information see the forum at http://forum.mgmaps.com Regards, Cristian Streng Mobile GMaps

I am in Cape Town, South Africa and have a Motorola v3 razr . I cannot get the GPS feature started . Could you please tell me how the program works ?

Developer Response

Hello, Bluetooth connectivity is not supported in java applications on Motorola razr V3, and as far as I know the phone doesn't have a built-in GPS receiver, so it's not possible to access GPS information on it. Regards, Cristian Streng Mobile GMaps

I have a Samsung-E720. I don't know if this counts as a problem or a suggestion as I've had no luck finding GPS software that is compatible with my phone. Soooo... either: Am I doing something wrong and how can I do it right? or Would you please make the software compatible sometime soon? :) I'd love a reply if you are kind enough and have the time so I don't keep flogging a dead horse (or dead phone if you like). Thanks in advance for your help and for the software if I get a compatible phone. :-D x Binks

Developer Response

Hi, Some phones do not support installation over bluetooth. Try to install directly over the internet. Open http://wap.mgmaps.com on your phone, click on the first download and install link. If it gives an authentication error, your phone may not support signed applications, then install by opening the link to the unsigned jad file. If it still doesn't work, let's continue the discussion on the forum at http://forum.mgmaps.com . Regards, Cristian Streng Mobile GMaps
