I've been waiting for this version for a while now. On my Sony Ericsson C902 the menu items now retain their position in the menu screens, unlike previous versions where all menu items were crammed into a corner and one needed to select a tool or effect by flicking through them one by one. Now I can see what I am doing and I don't stumble blindly into effect options as with the previous versions. A great improvement by adding 24bit colour handling. Excellent app with amazing and unique capabilities. Big CHEER! to LYNX Studios. I wish you all the best for future developments.

At last! PaintCAD 2 finally runs on my Sony Ericsson with all menu items nicely spaced so that I can see which options I am choosing. Well done LINX! You deserve a gold medal for your singular effort. There is nothing like PaintCAD out there, and although it is not easy to use (like GIMP and even Photoshop lol) for beginners, it is still a great little app for a mobile phone. Nice new startup screen and nice photo on the official homepage ;)

Its awesome apps... PCAD v2.0.3 make me easier to edit my photo... But, some feature is not work with my Nokia 6300, like: - 3GP/MP4 snapshot: i cant capture a snapshot from it... Hope u can fix this bug... Thanks a lot...!!

Developer response

Function "3GP/MP4 snapshot" needs a lot of java memory. And on some mobiles it not works (small amount of free memory when you draws, because drawing needs a lot of memory too). I think in next versions function "snapshot" will be separated to another mode (not 8bit or 24bit), special for video-snapshot. Also I plan add new modes: mode "Converter" - for converting fonts TTF to PCF on your mobile, and for converting graphics from one format to another formats, mode "Effect debugger" which allows write and debug your own effect-scripts and test/debug it (and after it - use it in 8bit of 24bit mode, or even give it as file to another users of paintcad).

Awesome application. Its the best paint application I've seen for phones! Version 1.9.1 Hotfix#2 can now load images saved on my phone (which didnt work in the previous versions) Keep up the good work! :-) Suggested feature: Would be nice if you could zoom in and out with the volume button!! (instead of selecting zoom in the menu) :)

Awesome! Thanks man! A bit hard to use.. but cool! Please add a "help" menu...

Developer response

If you press '0' button in main painting window - then you will see menu, where you can find 'Help' item =) Flip help pages by Right-Left buttons, move every page by Up-Down keys. Enjoy it =)

Works ok, but on 6233 cannot browse files or seem to take snapshots in the application. I think this may be down to the phone having DRM though, so i gave it 10 :).
