When i open the mWebPlayer file, it just loads, but doesn't open, please someone help me.
During starting mWebPlayer tries to load demo playlist from its web server over HTTP. As this process works fine on many different phone models seems to me that your phone has a bug. Try to update phone's firmware/software.
Phone S8000 Jet Application works fine and stable, but there are short interruptions in streaming, every several seconds. This is not a matter of bandwidth, because the interruptions are still present by streaming over WiFi. After every interruption the volume control is reset to max. output.
Pauses during playing is a problem of Java-mobile. It does not allow real-time dynamic buffering in built-in Java-player for streams broadcasted via HTTP protocol. There are no Java-mobile application which does not have such pauses. If your phone has powerful CPU and good J2ME implementation it can make it can make these gaps practically unnoticeable but they are still there in reality. Only BlackBerry phones do not have such pauses since they have more advanced Java. As for setting your phone's player to max volume after interruption it is a bug in your phone. There are many other users and nobody has complained about such problem.
When trying to play a radio station, I get the error: "Cannot prepare player1: Application no Authorized to access the restricted API"
It happens because in this phone models using Java-player is restricted by manufacturer or your mobile provider. To use the application your must be unlocked.
This software just gave me error messages. I called Sprint. I was told that, that software does not work with Samsung Instinct as told.
Your phone must be unlocked to use this application. Many mobile providers restrict using direct socket connections for third-part software.
No Icon on the phone desktop... or I'm missing something. I don't know how to run, open the player
The application has the same icon as it is shown here on GetJar.
i can conect to any radio station but i can't hear nothing.it shows playing but no sound.how can i solve the problem?
The special version for BlackBerry phones is available now.The version is based on main J2ME-application mWebPlayer but its graphics and menu controls were specially adjusted for BlackBerry phones. It uses advanced BlackBerry Java for playing functionality which allows to play streaming music without any gaps and pauses. The version is in beta-testing process now and you also can try it: 1. Open wap.sitex.com.ua with your mobile. 2. Go to Quick Download => mWebPlayer BlackBerry Demo.
Hello. Would you tell me if it is possible to listen to these stations: Jovem Pam AM, CBN AM, and Gazeta AM, all from SAo Paulo - Brasil? Thanks
No, these radios use WMA (Windows Media Audio) format for broadcasting media data which is not supported in J2ME. You should use on-line radios with mp3/aac format.
I ACTUALLY HAVE AN LG LX260, WHICH USES JAVA, BUT I WOULD THINK THAT IT WOULD WORK. I GET A MESSAGE THAT SAYS: SHOUTcast Grabber Error: i/o error Bas server response code 401
