It is very usefull application. why it can't hide any file just 2 steps(read data and write data) ? if it can do it, i think it is the best application for its category

Well... First, it is not 'real encryption' like the author says. Actually, it only changes the first byte of the JPEG header, making the mobile phone to give up on trying to find what file format it is, so it ends up not recognizing it as a JPEG file. It can easy be broken with an Hexeditor, replacing the first byte of the JPEG file by 0xFF, ou even with the MS-DOS edit with a option like /64 so it can be more esly edited. What kind of programmers are this nowadays? (If they may even by called programmers) At least, don't lie when you say 'real encrytion', it is not even a simple 8Bits XOR bassed encryption, it is a one byte header-damager. And ofcourse it is optimized for performance, it only needs to change one byte.

Developer response

Hi Nuno. First of all...let me remind you that this application was created for Mobile Phones & PDAs....not for a PC.Secondly...maybe you should browse wiki n enlighten yourself on the term "Encryption"...oh yes...I've used XOR Encryption itself in this app.As long as its doing its job perfectly... as a programmer I am satisfied.Last but not least.. "If you don't like the program ..don't use it"...simple!

Very nice! Exactly what I was looking for - protect your pictures that are already on your phone/memory. It would be nicer if it hid the files- but it's a good app none the less.

The application seems to run fine, but the files don't get encrypted... i tried it with movie files in both "downloaded movies" and "fravorate movies" (after setting them to be the encrypted folders). What am i doing wrong? thanks!

The program is nice and it provides what I need. Although there is no password all I need is that my sister watch my videos. I bet that if she finds some weird unreadable files in the video folder she won't start looking for a program that decrypts, she'll just move on to music or something :)
