i got a blackberry 8900 without the data plan but it has wifi. i tried the program but it doesnt load the maps. does it only use mobile data connection and not wifi?
Please get the latest version of MGMaps from http://wap.mgmaps.com , there's an option in advanced settings named "Append to HTTP requests". Select the fifth option in the list, ";deviceside=true;interface=wifi", this will direct MGMaps through wifi. We're also working on code to auto-detect WiFi, but at this time it breaks compatibility with older devices that's why it's not included in MGMaps. Regards, Cristian Streng MGMaps
the map does not locate me with gps feature. I have gone thru sttings and selected internal gps and save but application never locates me, and for some reason doesn't seem to keep setting.
Do you have the Sprint version of Mobile GMaps installed? Please check the forum at http://forum.mgmaps.com, there are some discussion threads about installation and configuration for Sprint.
