In simple words: its GREAT!...the initial registration is easy and fast and after you register its all in 1go!...its completely free obvously 4 chatting you need the internet service that cost some money...this is the best j2me im client out there 4 sure!

I m using it quite a few times, some of my fren is online but it show offline. I m wondering and try to msg them and confirm with them is it online, they are, but it show in my ebuddy is offline.

I used to love eBuddy a lot until this version came out when it now starts requiring registration. Now it does what any mobile multi-messenger does... it asks for an account with eBuddy to allow you to access messenger networks while using it. It's sad to see this... eBuddy was the greatest mobile messenger until this happened a few days ago but maybe there's still hope they'll reconsider.

can i just ask if this is entirly free because when it sends data over the interenet doesnt it cost you when it connects to the internet.

Its perfectly working on 6300.. the only program that i use for instant messaging..

eBuddy works on LG KF 600 (not on the list of supported divices), no problems.

I actually now have a Nokia E51 that is not on the list. It's being loaded for the first time as we speak, so haven't tried eBuddy with it yet. My previous phone's, the Nokia 6233's (with a Series 40 OS) best program that I found and used was eBuddy without a doubt! I've looked at numerous different IM programs for phones and eBuddy is THE BEST in every way! I've tried Nimbuzz and it was sucky as ever! MSN didn't even show nicks instead of emails, didn't support the additional status text and you had to apply some Nimbuzz account. Besides that it had "Call" in the menus that I found totally worthless and all the related features were kinda pointless if you ask me. My friend tried Palringo and said it was EVEN WORSE. I've looked at different IM software for mobiles and you won't regret eBuddy! It's GUI is nice, simplistic and easy to use. It has all the features you need and I craved for only two lacking things: A custom avatar to be set (in none of the IMs for phones) and file sending (in Nimbuzz this was done with some idiotic upload to a webpage, not the same as sending 1on1). I give eBuddy 9/10 just because of the lack of Custom Avatar Support and that it isn't made in Symbian to run faster than J2ME and consume less memory.

i was first skeptical but yea..i really work on my w910i. 1)just download the jar file frm this website to your computer(if u wana save a lil money) 2) transfer the jar file to ur w910i..into the memory card (place the file into any folder or create a special folder for it) 3) install the jar file 4)the phone will ask u where do u wan the file to be installed 5) configure ebuddy and use it. there..i do my part for humanity.

The W910i supports this mobile messenger wonderfully. I can keep in contact with friends anywhere I am, and it keeps me from being bored at family occasions :) If you have the Sony Ericsson W910i, or a phone that supports this mobile messenger. Download it, and give it a try. You WON'T regret it.

i have ebuddy on my pfone now for i think 2 month,s and it works great!even more fun when you are on the bus subway,train etc....everytime when your buddy response to you you hear a ping outloud,very amusing!only the buzzer doen,s work,but i like this program,it,s with colours and all! great. greetz linda

please help when i come to sign in and put my email and password and sign in it keeps making connection and then tells me my email or password is incorrect and i also tried my emails friends it tells me the same and the problem is no from my email o password i'm sure plz help.

Wow. This is great. I doubted that it would work properly at first because my phone isnt really a high-tech phone but, as soon as I started it I was amazed. It runs great and hardly takes up any memory at all. The MSN on eBuddy is just as good as the PC version. Thanks guys keep up the good work.

noticed that all msn contacts online are not shown on ebuddy, checked this by signing in alternatively between the pc msn and ebuddy.

i'd like to know how to set my internet settings in Java World in my samsung sgh-x640....because when log into ebuddy, it says that my internet setting must activated for java application......i used axis as my provider

I wanted to install yahoo messenger im my n95. Then i found this app. easy to download and it gives you access to ym, msn and a few others. I highly recommend this if you are looking to use ym oe msn messengers.

Thanks to Ebuddy for making such a wonderful software. I was luking for same... now i can chat with my friends without sitting on my desktop or picking my laptop with me.

Hi I was wondering if this uses actual data connection to send the messages like an internet app or does it do it via sms? Might sound like a dumb question but I had one before that uses sms every time to send and recieve messages and my bil went thru the roof. I have unlimited internet on the phone just not unlimited txt msgs. -- Anyone know? Thanks!

This is a very good application, i was initially afraid it might not work on my connection since mine is a 'only' wap connection, not a full data gprs connection. but this messenger worked fine...even the g.tak application from google didn't work, but this did....so its worth appreciating. nice interface, gives a vibration when you get an IM, quite good features...very nice overall....

successfully install on my K530i then when my third time want to use this apps it hang and then stuck at welcome screen... can fix this bug?? thanks....
