Nice app but not developed enough. I think i just found a bug :). If you enter some wrong numbers, unexisting lat or long the application just stops responding, it just shows "Please wait" forever. And at this point none of the 2 menus work. To exit you have to keep the back key pressed for 2-3 sec and accept to terminate app. And because the menues in the app don`t work you can`t change the wrong lat or long so the app will always be blocked, the only way to reuse it is to delete+install it again. The solution is to test the lat long numbers to see if they are possible and if not to ask them again. :)
Also i would suggest an improvement - to get the country/city from the service provider (Orange, Vodafone, etc.) so that it won`t be necessary to enter lat or long at all (i don`t know if that is possible, but it can use Area Info)
That`s all for now :) i`ll write if i find another bug :D

It gives wrong results on my CF62. My coordinates is Lat:10, Long:106. The position of the moon is incorrect.
I try it on the emulator on PC, it seems that results is correct.

There is no need to enter the fractional part of the coordinates! Just rounding them to the nearest integer is precise enough for an inherently imprecise compass like this.

This is simple and good app. Remember you dont have to put latitude and longitude so spesific, because it`s sun/moon-based compass. I checked with google my hometowns lat. and lon. points and put them with only 2 decimals. And check your GMT related timezone, from Google if not elsewhere. Remember at west and/or south to put negative lat. and lon. if needed.

For those who haven`t used a compass: Turn your phone so that the sun in your screen points that direction where the sun is in the sky.

Nifty little program, but very user un-friendly. It took some comparison against an online azimuth-elevation tool to realize that S and W coordinates have to be negative.

but I don`t give up hope.
