NavFun Pro is the ideal navigation/maps tool that gives you all the goodies of a full featured GPS receiver and Google Maps, Earth, Terrain. Ideal for hiking, geocaching, skiing, mountain biking, and city tours. You can connect your bluetooth GPS or use the mobile's built in GPS. All your tracks are uploaded to internet (optionally). You can check them out at www.trackthisout.com/tm.html.

If your mobile supports a file-system (for example a flash card) you can store your tracks to the file-system. In that case you can review your tracks on your PC with for example Google Earth. Using a simple free procedure you can copy google maps to your flash card and then you can navigate with the most detailed up-to-date maps without needing internet.

  • Export your location to your own private server (requires internet)
  • Load GPX track-files from your mobile's file-system (for example flash card), show the track on your mobile's map, and let your mobile guide you through the track
  • Store your track as GPX file to your mobile's file-system. After that you can review your track on your PC (using for example Google Earth)
  • See and chat with your buddies that use NavFun Pro or http://www.trackthisout.com/index.html
  • Speed camera detection for whole Europe, USA, Canada, Taiwan and Brazil (powered by www.foxytag.com)
  • Supports bluetooth GPS and built in GPS (JSR 179)
  • Also works without GPS. In that case you can browse maps and use the find-feature.
This is an unlimited demo version. However without license key, each 90 minutes you have to restart the application and you have an extra popup at startup.

This is shareware, otherwise known as crippleware, not freeware. Freeware allows all functionality to be used. Shareware only allows a subset of functionality unless a fee is paid.

THE APPLICATION IS ADVERTISED AS FREEWARE BUT IT IS NOT FREEWARE. INTRODUCTION SCREEN ADVISED YOU HAVE TO GO TO A WEBSITE TO PURCHASE LICENSE CODE. I DELETED APP AT THAT POINT AND DID NOT USE IT ANY FURTHER. I RATED THIS APP VERY LOW BECAUSE OF THE DECEPTIVE NATURE OF IT'S LICENSE.

It is freeware. You have all the options available for free, except a pincode protection. This pincode is nice if you want to publish your location to the internet to a small group of people you can share the pincode with. After 90 minutes you have to restart the app, however it stores your last location and you can easily continue. So the app is for free but you can make it a bit more convenient by paying a fair price. Most freeware programs have options to extend the program or to make it more convenient, that's how they make money and that's the reason there are so many nice software titles.

Why would anyone want this? all it is is a interface to google maps. Go get Google Maps instead.

We have more: All your tracks can be exported/imported (GPX). You can set waypoints (current location or longitude, latitude). You can follow others, your tracks are uploaded to the internet automatically so that you can review them later.
