My Device is'nt in the list****
I've managed to get the program to run successfully on the new Sony-Ericsson C-702. However the internal GPS will not work with it. Could this be added if it is not available?
I typed JSR179 in the GPS URL and it still wont connect. Thanks, this is going to be a great tool once it successfully connects to the GPS on the C-702.

| Hi!
Have you downloaded the second version of the program (E90, N95)? The first midlet has no JSR179 support. Anyway, I haven't tried yet on a Sony Ericsson with internal GPS, so I will check.

Could you produce a signed jar/jad because the read access requests that appear render the program useless

| Hi!
A java certificate is a little expensive for a hobby like Mario_Advisor. Maybe it will be a good idea for further versions.
Anyway, remember you can use internal maps, to get rid off the security prompts.

My phone is SIEMENS SXG-75. There is internal GPS-receiver in it. It would be wonderful if the program could work with internal GPS-receiver.

| Hi!
Internal GPS support (JSR179) is now supported. Use the second download link.

The application worked fine. However:
1) there is no site to ask for support - I could not load a map from c:mario and I was stuck there...
2) there is not any sort of Help file - I did not know what sort of Garmin maps to use, Mapsource or?
That's why I gave 7 instead of 10.

| Hi!
I'm working on a basic stable version of the program, and then the user's manual and support webpage will be created. You are right , there is a lack of support by now.
The easy way to start is connect the device to PC via USB. In the root of the memory card create "mario" folder .
Inside the folder you may copy *.img files. The program was forst created to be used with Garmin metroguide maps. There are 4 metroguide areas: North America, Australia, Canada and Europe. You can obtain one of these and install in PC. The right files are located in Garmin folder and are named 00****.img

I guess it would be too difficult to add DIR_PATH to the settings, i cannot create a folder /mario in the root but I can do so anywhere else. thanks!

| Hi!
DR_PATH added to settings. Enable external access and select any data folder.
