this is a good game and those people that are complaining that the pieces look the same. do you not know how to play chess where the pieces go and how they move and i do agree about the menu thing and there should be a way to resign especially since he's so hard to beat. and people its a free download for your phone so it's not gonna be perfect

The software installs well, full screen mode is great but interface is not very polished. There is no menu button working so one cannot adjust difficulty level. anyone has suggestions?

There is no menu, you need to end the game in order to restart another (there is no resign) The levels are very weak and do a lot of mistakes, not real chess guru as mentioned, its less than intermediate. Graphics are horrible, and as some people mentioned the pieces have very similar looks, hard to differentiate. Rest still, okey, works fine in HTC, not bugged, no adds, good job for a free soft.

I have a S7330, a cut-down version of U900. The game installed perfectly, but when I try to move a horse, the game hangs, so that limits a lot your possibilities. The game seems cool, but, like I said, it hangs whenever you try to move a horse.

On an old Blackberry 7290, I can't see the menu. The word "menu" seems to be in the bottom right hand corner of the screen but, that's it. Otherwise, a very capable game. Nice gfx.

Samsung SGH i907 Epix...it works fine..and the game is great to play. I have no complaints...and the graphics isn't that bad. Thanks. I enjoy playing chess on the go...no freeze...just fun times....nice java program...i love it....

It is very good for beginners and time pass for intermediate players. Biggest draw back of this game is it hangs quite often and it is unpredictable, we need to remove battery to get phone working when it hangs. this is the worst thing you dont want one feture i would like to see two feature changes when you are in the firs menu option, it should move to last menu option when clicked top and move to first menu options upon cliccking bottom when we are in the last menu option. similarly, when move pad/key left when we are in the 1st column (A), it should move the right most column (H) and same applicable when move up/down
