This is a mobile-test application developed by a mumbai based start-up with extensive domain expertise in the Mobile-learning space, Delta technologies. The product TopCAT is for students aiming to bell the Common Admission Test (CAT) and CET, SNAP, SAT, GRE, GMAt etc exams. TopCAT, a suit of mobile-learning applications, is officially launched on November 6, 2008 by Delta Technologies in association with the world leader in global publishing and financial services, Tata McGraw-Hill. TopCAT, an M-learning initiative, will enable CAT aspirants and others to test their verbal ability quotient, do last-minute revisions and monitor their speed and accuracy in problem-solving. TopCAT applications include, synonym, antonym, odd man out and analogy tests with scores and speed/accuracy analysis. The TopCAT suite of products will allow students to test their knowledge through an interactive interface on their mobile phones. It will also offer the functionality of timed tests and scoring/analysis of the tests. Various TopCAT products can be downloaded easily onto a mobile device via GPRS or through a web-enabled PC and later be transferred from PC-to-mobile. The TopCAT application does not require a continuous GPRS connection and can be accessed by students offline on their mobile devices, giving them the freedom to use it whenever and wherever required. All products in the TopCAT series are preloaded with a free Level 1 test application with analysis. However, other advanced Level tests are priced at Rs 99 per application. CAT aspirants can purchase the TopCAT products online or by accessing any of the mobile payment gateways -- Oxicash, Zipcash, Paymate, etc. To download TopCAT applications, CAT aspirants can send an SMS -- TOPCAT to 56677 -- or can logon to www.madmobilesoftware.com Founder of Delta Technologies, Jinen Dedhia, says that “With CAT only a few days away, we understand the requirements of CAT aspirants and what they need at this moment to utilize their time most efficiently. Our aim is to help applicants do last-minute revisions through our M-learning initiative and score high percentiles in the CAT exam. We are planing to launch these applications for other entrance exams such as IIT-JEE, engineering CETs, medical CET etc."
