Polar lotus is one of the first mobile screensavers made in C++. C++ makes it possible for the screensaver to continuously create new patterns, just like a PC screensaver. Polar lotus generates a mystical flow of lotus visuals with ever changing colours and patterns. Almost all other mobile screensavers are made in GIF or Flash and these do not have the ability of creating new patterns, they loop the same sequence over and over.

Polar lotus has a very uplifting effect on the mood and is really relaxing to watch. It has a more harmonic theme than our other screensaver Digital lotus. You can use the software for meditation or just to relax and stress down, while watching the shifting patterns. Polar Lotus is a very original, unique and eye catching screensaver. How to activate and use the screensaver

You have to activate Polar lotus as the chosen screensaver to see it after you have installed it. Do this by choosing Tools--Settings--General--Personalization--Themes--Power Saver--Polar lotus--Set. You can also preview the screensaver from there.

The screensaver will display the lotus patterns after a certain period of user inactivity. This is called the “Power saver time out” time period. The “Power saver time out” is set to one minute after the installation. You can change this, so the screensaver comes on quicker. Do this by choosing Tools--Settings--General--Personalization--Display--Power saver time out. If you want to use the screensaver for meditation, set the “Power saver time out” to the lowest value. Then it will come on continuously after this time period of user inactivity.This is how the screensaver will appear in your mobile:

Installation

After downloading the file to your PC, install it with Nokia PC Suite or copy the file to the phone and install it in the phone through the file manager.

Compatibility

Polar lotus is compatible with 50 devices from Nokia, Samsung and LG.If this application is not available for your device, try our Java product Astral effects , where Polar lotus is included as one of the visuals.

You can look at the screensaver while you're making a call, having a chat or listening to the radio. It is suitable for both the young and the adult audience and will give you a different and more relaxing experience than a game or surfing the internet. The next version of Astral effects will function like a plugin for a mp3 player or any other music player, with the visuals synchronized with the music. It will then function like a media player or a video player. The next version of Astral effects will also have bluetooth functionality and it will be possible to start on demand, for instance if you want it to start when you get a SMS.
