| Vibe is a powerful multitrack music sequencer for composing, editing and sharing music/ringtones. You can up/download and share your music from your phone with an online Vibe community/friends. There is a monthly download chart so you can upload your songs and take part! See it at vibejive.net The Vibe website allows you to access your online Vibe songs and download them as Midi files, or upload Midi files to your online Vibe songs area for download to Vibe on your phone. You can share your music amoungst the entire Vibe online community or restrict to groups of friends. Vibe allows you to take pieces of music from one song and incorporate them into another. Man ive been searching the entire net for a progam like this. Something that could run on my cheap nokia 2610 that I could do mobile song writing. I tried the midi one but I could not gain app access to it, and didn't feel like voiding the warrenty on the phone by debranding it. So props to who ever made this excellant fruityloops style prog. The only thing I would add to it to change it would be an export feature, also diff time signatures would be good, and the hear the note when you write it. Mabye that will be availible in the full feature considering this is just the demo!

i was not quite enjoyed to try this little editor in the first time...but after a while...shit it's so good!!!...pattern editor track editor...drums (with a lot of samples..) lots of samples in midi range...very easy to use...a little fruity loops!

Only a word: PERFECT.
The only thing I don't like is that I cant export my songs to MIDI format and I cant register/login (using UMTS) because the site is down... So I can't use my songs as ringtones??

very good self-sufficient midi-tracker
+the concepts of: "track", "pattern", "note" as in a true PC trackers
+no problems during saving (a usual problem for j2me apps)
+accurate GUI
-no real-time audition during editing--must turn on "play" and listen to the whole fragment
-limited keyboard shortcuts--must do a lot of menu browsing

Works fine. My only regret is that to obtain a midi file you have to upload and then download again the file as a ringtone, and the connection costs very much in Italy... :-(

nice general midi style sequencer! it does seem to be a little buggie but it overall works quite well. i wish i had the instructions, but the vibejive.net site is down =( if the price was under $50, i`d definitely buy it. i`m a little worried anything i create will be lost when the trial period runs out, especially as it`s unclear if there`s any support for it anymore.
