It very interesting and useful midlet - graphic editor PaintCAD;

Supported mobiles: Siemens x55,x60 - light interface, may crash; Siemens x65,x75,benq - full interface, almost not crashed; Any another mobile with JSR75 filesystem and MIDP2.0 - may crash, but works;

Supported formats: BMP 2 bit (black-white), BMP 256 colors (8 bit), BMP 24 bit, GIF 8 bit, PNG 8 bit, WBMP 2 bit, BMX animation. Also in MIDP2 mobiles via "Open ???" you can open PNG and JPG and another mobile-known format (forXample SVG)!

Max.size of editable image: Siemens x65,x75 - 176x220 pixels; Another mobiles - screen of your mobile;

You can draw wallpapers or draw small pictures and put it on records in your mobile address book, or send black-white pictures in sms to your friends! You can photo yourself or your friend - and cover his(her) face with brush, effect and another =)

АTTENTION: If in first window you cannot push any key - it`s because PaintCAD detects your mobile wrongly. Just select your mobile by pressing 1,2,3,4 or 5 key (siemens,motorola,sonyeric,nokia,samsung) and be sure that in window header mobile model is really yours. Then select language by softkeys e.t.c.

Awesome application. Its the best paint application I've seen for phones! Version 1.9.1 Hotfix#2 can now load images saved on my phone (which didnt work in the previous versions) Keep up the good work! :-) Suggested feature: Would be nice if you could zoom in and out with the volume button!! (instead of selecting zoom in the menu) :)

If you press '0' button in main painting window - then you will see menu, where you can find 'Help' item =) Flip help pages by Right-Left buttons, move every page by Up-Down keys. Enjoy it =)

Works ok, but on 6233 cannot browse files or seem to take snapshots in the application. I think this may be down to the phone having DRM though, so i gave it 10 :).

the best paint app ever!!!! i can`t save pics that i drew onto my phone tho (i drew an amazing naruto and sasuke pic and now it`s gone :(. ) , if possible pleeeeeaaaaaaaasse fix this problem!

Many users of SE cant save pictures =) Reason of it: dont enter "a.bmp", enter "a:/pictures/a.bmp" - and it will be saved! or use Functions menu-Browse and select file to save, or folder (then enter to needed folder and select "in this folder" command) - and path to file or folder automatically will added to filename textfield, and after it you can manually edit filename/filepath. Try, i think it's decision of your problem =)

Very useful App! Developers deserve to get paid :p

I`ve installed it on my phone with the .jad file, but there isn`t a way to set permission to read/write user data (Never Ask).

Any tip?

On new models of SonyEric (such as K790 4xample) prog works incorrectly in some places in program code. I think Java-VirtMachine in this mobiles wrongly works, or may be it very-very good works and don't "eat" small errors, but orher mobiles eats errors and PaintCAD can works on it more good.

I can`t get it running on my phone, yet I think this is an excellent application that needs to be supported. Big cheer! for the developer. I will have to see what can be done about my V3i though, but I already like it.

Excellent, feature packed application. The interface takes a bit to get used to, but that`s nothing when you consider all it can do. I didn`t think Java apps could access data on the phone like that...
