standard message pad, send messages even when your buddies are not online; when
they start their Whizzper application they will have
your messages waiting for them. Multiple Dialogs: Enjoy the Whizzper
interface that offers a simple means to maintain multiple conversations open at
the same time. Data Connection: Your mobile service must
allow you to connect to the internet using the mobile operators
data network. Why is Whizzper Cheaper than SMS: Whizzper uses the mobile operator IP data network and Whizzper will always try to use the most efficient
connection protocol available such as TCP-Sockets or HTTP. On average an operator will charge $.05 - $.10
per message and let’s say you want to send 10 messages per day, 300 per month
your monthly cost would be $15 - $30 per month.
With Whizzper you can send 50 messages per
day, that’s 5 times the SMS messages and for even less money. We do recommend that you check your data plan
and we would recommend a data plan of 5MB-20MB per month based on the amount of
messaging that you plan to do. These

I installed the appication time ago on my mobile; it was an older version. I installed 1.5.04 on a friend's of mine mobile and I can tell the look&feel has improved, with different backgrounds for each protocol.
Registration is easier now aswell (fewer steps).
So, finally I updated my phone too.

I think is great. Registration process failed, but I sended an e-mail to the support team (support@whizzper.com) and they sended my password to me. I also think is great because the midlet worked on my Sharp GX17, when other products like this midlet didn`t worked on my mobile.
