FreeThis app can detect Chinese characters and translate them to English. It can also scan an object and translate them to both English and Chinese. You can save the scanning history to practise and to learn Chinese.
You can either upload an image or use camera to make a photo. It provides pronunciations of the scanned Chinese characters as well as the translated English text.
Note: this app can only be used before end of 2020.
