You have the option to enable notifications a number of minutes before the actual class. With the new release, you can enable the notifications when the phone boots up. Also, with the new release comes a Backup & Restore functionality through which you can backup your schedules to external storage (SD card). Don't forget to turn off the hints from the "Settings" menu after you learn how to use the application.
