Project Saakshar

This free tablet app available allows instant access to the Project Saakshar content repository anywhere with Internet access without using a computer. The Hindi word “Saakshar”, literally means “with letters”. In context of a person, someone is considered “Saakshar” if he or she is able to read the letters and understand the words. With the vision of "Everyone should read", Project Saakshar aims to help improve prose literacy among adults. It is intended to be a source of information for adult learners and tutors.
