FreeAfter getting water magic on a character all you have do is stand in a trap until your health goes down to one. You won't get knocked out so don't worry.
After your health is a 1, use heal until your health is full. Keep on doing this and eventually you will level up. You can do this up until level 100 maximum sill level.
You should have a save point near by to recover or have some items that restore MP.
One of the best places to do this is at mount typhoon. When there stand inside the acid pool and follow the steps above then go to the save point inside the tower at the top.
