FreeYou BackgroundTube allows you to play youtube videos in the background without requiring that youtube app is open. You can hear to your favourite music while using other apps. You BackgroundTube also supports overlay mode, where an overlay of the video is shown to the screen. The app supports either selecting a video from the main screen which has the same interface as youtube, either play a video right straight from the youtube app by selecting share and then selecting You BackgroundTube, or searching via the overlay.
The app is tested on android 4.2, 5.0+, 6.0+. Due to limitations on android system webview only sound is available before android 5.0.
