FreeStoryteller. Warrior Queen. Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian singer-songwriter. Her debut EP Running with the Wolves was released through Decca Records in May 2015, receiving widespread approval. Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger. She began creating melodies at the age of 6, and began writing lyrics at the age of 9. Her talent has won her the 2015 Spellemann Award for Newcomer of the Year and the Gramo Scholarship, 2016 Spellemann Award for Music Video of the Year 2016 for "I went too far", 2016 Spellemann Award for Pop soloist of the Year for All My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend. She strives to write music that can inspire people, through idiosyncratic tales of struggle, love, and all that lies in between. Moths Of Aurora is a fan made android app dedicate to the Norwegian singer/songwriter Aurora Aksnes, developed by a fellow warrior. Hope you enjoy it :)
