California Highway Conditions
FreeOne tap access to the California Department of Transport (DOT) highway conditions mobile site. It allows you to query the condition of any highway in California. Tells you about road closure due to storm, snow, rock slide, etc.
For example, you can use it to see the highway condition for 18, 330, and 38 to help get you up to Bear Bear, Snow Summit, Mountain High, etc. (See screen shot for example.) Or use it to see if 405 is still under construction and whether you have to take a detour.
Or you might want to check the road condition of 395 for Mammoth. Or you can use it to check whether Pacific Coast Highway is open or closed.
All highways in California are covered by the California Department of Transport.
This app also provide the current highway conditions phone number on the screen. Tapping it allows you to call and get the condition via your phone.
