FreeYongSeo Couple (Korean: 용서커플) is a couple from the South Korean reality TV show We Got Married. The husband is singer and actor Jung Yong Hwa (also written as Yonghwa, Yong-hwa, or Yong-Hwa), and the wife is singer Seohyun (also written as Seo Hyun, Seo Joo-hyun, or Seo Joo-Hyun). The couple’s name YongSeo was coined by combining the first syllables of their names, Yong from Yonghwa and Seo from Seohyun. They appeared as a virtually wed couple in the show for over a year. They are also known as the “Sweet Potato (Goguma 고구마 ) ” Couple, due to Seohyun’s massive love for them.
On 5 February 2010, Yonghwa and Seohyun were cast as a new virtually married couple in MBC‘s We Got Married. Yonghwa is an actor and leader and lead vocalist of the idol band CN Blue, and Seohyun is one of the lead vocalist from girl group Girls’ Generation.
The concert was aired on 4 September 2010 on MBC’s Show! Music Core.
