The player chooses a character and move through the levels, destroying enemies. At the end of level boss awaits the player. Sometimes intermediate bosses appear in the middle level. Between levels occurs explanation tasks, accompanied by pictures showing; and dialogue are present within the levels - typically in the form of conversations with the bosses. Unlike previous games in the series, the background are well drawn and are sometimes something happens.
