As in previous games in the series the main hero — plumber Mario. The villain king Koopa
kidnaps Princess Toadstool and satchet dinosaur Yoshi in the egg. Frees Mario and Yoshi
riding on it is sent to the castle of king Koopa to save the Princess. Enemies are
turtles, armadillos and other animals.It is interesting that in the game there is no enemy
(apart from shell) without abilities,which is destroyed in the usual jump Mario from one
impact (for Example,a bat is killed Mario with a single blow,but it is activated if Mario
walked over close to her, and flies on a curved path.)
Gameplay have suffered many changes.The main innovation was the ability to use
Yoshi as a means of movement and fighting ability (e.g., eating
opponents).Now Mario can pass the same level twice, which was not in
previous game.Also, Mario has a backup item - object located in the upper part
screen in a special box.Mario can also collect at 1,3 and 5 lives with one
jump.
