The events take place in 2641. The mankind starts slowly but certainly reviving from the disastrous blood-spilling caused by the Aliens. However, another danger appeared. The player shall select one hero out of four. Each hero has his own skills. The soldiers arsenal is quite diverse. Each hero has his own set of weapons. The main task of a soldier is to kill the enemy.
This part of Contra is rather inconsequent. Occasionally, the player shall select further events of the game on his own. Therefore 6 endings are possible in this game. They are totally different with their own boss and number of levels.
