FreeSanskrit PaniniKeypad is an IME (input method editor) for android phones. After installation by setting as default keyboard, one can type sms,email,chat,facebook,whatsapp etc. all in Sanskrit. Follow instruction at bottom.
PaniniKeypad is a new innovative dynamic input keyboard, that allows one to type in Sanskrit any where inside the phone. This based on statistical predictive texting & follow rules of linguistics. As you start typing letters will change their position & next letters will appear on screen. Simultaneously words starts from that letters will appear on top, which makes your typing quite easy.
There are only two rules of typing.
1. Look for your character on screen & touch it.
2. Press 'Next' button for more letters on screen.
Twice press the space key to put purnavirama at the end of sentence.
Launch Instruction:
Go to Settings-Language & input- select PaniniKeypad IME (check on).
Go to Settings-Language & input-Default-select PaniniKeypad IME.
